Linking words are also known as cohesive devices, discourse markers or transitional words. They are utmost parts of the IELTS Writing Module as they bring overall structure and flow to your Essay or Letter.

Most  students appearing for IELTS Examinations know this words as Firstly, Secondly, Furthermore, However and many more. Once the students become aware about them they tend to overuse these words or use them inappropriately. So please make sure that the linking words are used judiciously in your essay in order to get high Band Score for coherence and Cohesion.

Some people claim that family members are more important than friends. At what point do you agree and disagree with this statement and give your own opinion.

Answer :

Human evolution is a complex interplay of various factors. Some individuals are of the opinion that parents are utmost for children whereas others opine that friends have a more significant role however, it is necessary to have a glance on both arguments before forming any verdict.

Guardians have direct interaction with their young ones. They provide a sense of identification to the child. these have their impact on intellectual development and traits. They play a very important role in socializing of a child. Right from the bedtime stories t the behavioral habits parents play a vital role in making a child responsible citizen. That is why it is believed by some that parents have the strongest role in child's development. 

Friends, on the contrary, are equally important in order to help children evolve emotionally as well as socially.Children usually find out who they are by comparing them to others however, they can learn lessons about attitude, character and personality through it. Building a good relationship boosts children self esteem and they find comfort in those friendships when things get rigid such as loosing a pet or family problem.

In my opinion, we cannot generalize as to what has more significance. In the early years family has more impact but in adolescence friends may impact more. It appears that the power of the elite group becomes more important when family relationships are not close or supportive. As an instance, if the parents work extra jobs and are largely unavailable , their may turn to peer group for emotional support.

To conclude, children are affected to many different factors such as parents, kin, friends and domain. All these are inextricably linked in the evolement of a child. there is individual variation and therefore it is difficult to generalize which factor play the utmost role.

Secondly, Many people homesick and lonely and therefore cannot sustain in the foreign country and return home.

The utmost point is that children, especially who are in the young ages, need the care from both parents. Childhood is the crucial phase of life and comes only once. If children are deprived of one parent love, it may have a considerable impact on their psyche.Therefore, working abroad with family can provide complete love and care to the children.

On the contrary, there are some flaws of working abroad with families. Firstly, living with family abroad means more expenses. A single person can share a room with someone in the initial stages however a complete family needs a proper house. What is more, all the members may face stress of adaption to alien domain. Parents themselves feel culture shock and therefore cannot help their young ones.

Admittedly, Internet has made our lives hassle free. Firstly, it can convey information instantly. it can tell what happened in the world right away in depict. Secondly, it plays an important role in education sector. People can study History, Culture, Language, enhance cooking skills and many more from the internet. Even the books are now available in the electronic format (E-Books) and that is the reason some people find it a threat to the traditional physical books,

Nevertheless, we could not neglect the importance of  books which are very convenient to carry and easy to get. Books are available everywhere in the every nook and corner of the world. After a day work we can easily unwind in our bed or sofa by reading book or  magazine. Books are also very good travel companion.

Moreover, it is also very difficult to sit for a long hours glued to the monitor screen. Eye strain and back pain are also some disadvantages of internet. As so many power cuts and  fluctuation in internet we cannot rely on it.
